From a Family Idea to an Established European Specialist
PPC’s story began in 1967 with the production of the first white paper plate made in Austria. Since joining the PAPSTAR Group in 1994, we have continued to expand our manufacturing capabilities, product portfolio and technical expertise.
Today, our products can be found in retail, hospitality and foodservice businesses across Europe and in international markets beyond Europe.
Over the years, some products have become closely associated with PPC. From our characteristic COTTONE napkin qualities and proprietary NouveauTech tablecover material to fully paper-based printed paper plates, these developments reflect what has always driven us: a curiosity for materials, a passion for product development and the belief that even everyday products can be made differently.
That combination of technical expertise, manufacturing know-how and product development still shapes PPC today.

Hydropower from Next Door
This is something we are proud of. Our production site is directly connected to a neighbouring hydropower plant. The electricity generated there is integrated into our production infrastructure and has been part of how we manufacture our products for many years.
