Our certifications and assessments cover different areas. Some apply to management systems or the company, while others relate to specific products, materials or product specifications.

Company Assessments & Compliance
ISO 14001:2015
Our production site has an environmental management system certified to ISO 14001:2015.
This internationally recognised standard provides a structured framework for identifying, managing and continuously improving relevant environmental aspects within our operations. The certification applies to the site and scope stated in the certificate.
EcoVadis Silver Medal
EcoVadis assesses companies in the areas of Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.
In its most recent assessment, PPC was awarded an EcoVadis Silver Medal and ranked among the top 15% of all companies assessed under the EcoVadis methodology applicable at the time of the assessment.
The assessment relates to the company and does not constitute certification of individual products.
Sedex Membership
Sedex is a global platform for sharing information about ethical and responsible business practices across supply chains.
Through its membership, PPC shares relevant supply chain information with business partners and supports transparent collaboration throughout the supply chain.
IPV Membership
PPC is a member of the German Association for Paper and Film Packaging, Industrieverband Papier- und Folienverpackung e.V. (IPV).
The association represents the interests of the paper and film packaging industry and supports its members with current industry and regulatory topics.
Product Features & Options
Food Contact & Product Safety
Our napkins, paper plates and tablecovers are suitable for contact with dry, moist and fatty foods in accordance with their intended use.
The permitted applications and conditions of use depend on the specific product and the agreed product specification.
Manufacturing is carried out in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Where required, we can provide the relevant product and compliance documentation for the agreed product specification.
FSC® Chain of Custody Certification
PPC holds FSC® Chain of Custody certification.
FSC® Mix-certified options are available for selected materials and product specifications.
The FSC® Recycled label identifies products manufactured and certified in accordance with FSC® requirements for recycled materials.
The FSC® claim and label that may be used are confirmed for each project based on the material used and the applicable certification scope.
Nordic Swan Ecolabel
The Nordic Swan Ecolabel is a recognised environmental label for products that meet defined criteria.
The requirements may cover materials, chemicals and other product-specific criteria. Nordic Swan-certified options are available for selected products and specifications.
We are happy to confirm whether the certification can be used for your project based on the specific product specification.
Seedling
The Seedling mark identifies products certified as industrially compostable in accordance with DIN EN 13432:2000-12.
The certification applies exclusively to the tested and certified product specification. We review the product specification to confirm whether a Seedling-certified option is available for your project.
OK compost HOME
OK compost HOME identifies products certified for home composting.
PPC offers selected OK compost HOME-certified product variants, including certified paper plates and certain napkin specifications. Whether the certification applies depends on the certified article, its composition and the valid certification scope.

Hydropower from right next door
100% Electricity from Hydropower
Our production site is directly connected to the neighbouring hydropower plant. This direct connection has been part of our production infrastructure for many years and supplies 100% of the electricity used in our manufacturing operations.
