PPC and environmental standard
The motivation to create a sustainable future for our Earth, coming generations and ourselves has never been as high as it is now. The topic of sustainability is thus at the leading edge in the premium market segment. PPC commits to highest standards and therefore we work exclusively and uncompromisingly with certified raw materials of premium quality. We select our raw materials on the basis of ecological criteria and the responsible use of natural resources, for the sake of our environment and our children’s future.
PPC – Certified Quality
Today sustainability is considered a high priority topic when talking about premium segment products
FSC® stands for „Forest Stewardship Council®“ and is an international forest management certification system. Ten global principles guarantee that FSC certified wood and paper products come from responsibly managed forests.
The FSC standard writes e.g. that the ecological functions of a forest must be maintained, it protects endangered plant and animal species and secures the rights of indigenous people and workers.
A strong proof of environmental efforts. Being certified means that the eco-labeled product meets stringent environmental requirements and high standards for chemicals, as well as the use of energy and resources.
For products awarded Nordic Ecolabel, only raw materials of the highest quality in environmental terms may be used.
In order to be able to designate a product as fully biodegradable and compostable, it must fulfill all the conditions set by the European guideline DIN EN 13432. The seedling identifies products that consist of biodegradable materials and are compostable. The entire product – including its colors, etc. – must be completely biodegradable and compostable.
ISO 14001
ISO 14001 is the most recognized international standard for environmental management systems. The certification is used worldwide and supports companies of all kinds in their efforts to reduce the environmental impact of processes, products and services.
